“She doesn’t want to lead, she just wants to twirl on the music. The question is, will you take her? ” — Danet, Dance Instructor.

A part of self-discovery requires you to understand the type of energy within you. There are only two and only two types of energies: a Masculine & a Feminine. And no there is no LGBTQ energy.

And yes this article is biased towards understanding male energy.

The only way you understand the other is when you understand yourself first.

This article is comprised of clips that will help one understand “himself”.

The spaghetti western gave an iconic movie in the ’90s. The good, the bad & the ugly depicts the clash, collaboration, and deceits of a man. Instead of the character with the perfect goody shoes, the good is presented with greed and wits. The ugly is presented with humor and friendship and the bad is presented with the least number of kills.

This contradiction of the character's traits and the character allows us to ask ourselves, is it really that good? is it really that bad ? is it really that ugly?

This is not to say physical activity does not matter, rather what does matter?

Go watch this movie.

Top gun is the greatest movie from the 80s. The most important is this scene where Maverick and Goose, check the bar.

It’s important to observe how Maverick didn’t let go when Iceman came to size up with him. Maverick knew who he was and he didn’t let it get over him.

Second, when Maverick approached Charlotte with a new kick, she knew the game was on and she played along. The golden rule, the man always approaches. Charlotte didn’t just deny the conversation but patiently listened and tried testing maverick. Maverick, instead of trying to be a charlatan, flirted with Charlotte with the humblest of attitude.

The reason I like this scene is that it is important to realize how to play the game.

In 1987, Barbara Walters reinterviewed Sean Connery and talk about his views and life. Barbara cleverly tried to pin Sean into submission by letting him admit he was wrong with his views.

But having a strong view and being unapologetic about it is what Sean is about. Notice how this interview collides with the equality movement and Sean had every reason to reconsider. But Sean did not let it fetter his idealogy. Sean humors barbara about serious topics and uses her argument against her. But Sean does not pin barbara, He lets her express herself and he answers her with his humorous wits using a pinch of aggression.

Finally, this scene from American beauty shows the end of all story. What really matters at the end? Alan Ball composed a wonderful script exploring the idea of what all this hassle is all about.

Now, this does not mean I know it all, end be all. The end. But listening to it makes me realize a new thing, again and again.

What this is all about?

Yes. Health, Wealth & Love are the essentials of life. But what is this all about? Go to school, set your IRA, get a job, get laid, marry, have kids, go on vacations, spend credits on useless stuff to get validation, wait for retirement. Is that all who we have become?

Read, lift and Flirt, as much as possible.

This is my wish & my blessing, may you find who you truly are & express it to the world.

Lots of Love, Chao.
