“Wisdom can be learned. But it cannot be taught .” — Anthony de Mello.

It is fascinating to look at a person interacting. The person’s appearance can be from engaging, not engaging to trying to engage. The point is who is this person? How is its interaction? How does it expresses itself?

This is one of my favorite things to do. To observe a person and study it. And see if I can learn from it.

The boy: Who should a person be? A talker, a mute, or a chameleon?

Wisdom: This boy is wise for he has witnessed his persona. Instead of identifying with it.

The boy: Who should I be? A talker, a mute, or a chameleon?

Wisdom: Discover it.

It is easy to conclude the question into, believe this or believe that, do this or do that. Why not stay with this question longer? Let us look at this discomfort of who should we be?

Should we be an extrovert, should we be an introvert, or should we change depending on the circumstance?

I have witnessed extroverts contemplate in deep thoughts and introverts engage in a heated debate. I have seen people do a complete 360 shit with their personality at will, but what is it?

Should we change ourselves or should we change the way the world interacts with us?

Should we please the world or should we let the world please us?

We still have not concluded the answer, have we? So what do we do?

…………………………………………………..

We discover the world gradually. The world shall discover us gradually.

Let it happen.

This is my wish & my blessing, may you find who you truly are & express it to the world.

Lots of Love, Chao.
