Dr.Rao,
I would like to share a similar experience with this article. I used to love drinking soda. It was a drink to enjoy, so many flavors so many fun. But I knew I had to get rid of soda from my life or any other sugary products. So I had to trick myself. I took a cup of soda and drank it. But every time I drank the gulp I said out loud how nasty it is. How the bubbles are hurting the mouth. The smell is so terrible. And every time any one offered me a drink I would say I don’t drink it because the bubbles hurt my mouth. It took a bit time and eventually I never carved soda. Now even if I try to enjoy it, the habit of telling it’s terrible prevents me from having the drink , and hence I got freed from SODA.
