Society interacts with everybody’s personality in different ways, that it may not grant you opportunities until you’re 29, 32, or even 40. The key thing is to keep swinging. You’ll hit one soon enough.” — Aaron Clarey.

Once upon a time in Savannah Africa, the elders decided to host a race. The race would give the winner respect, honor & a cattle of cows. Everyone got excited. It was festive. The young boys were excited to impress the girls. The girls were excited to see boys compete.

Tau was also stretching his legs for the race. His eyes fell on a clear contrast of two groups. One full of youth and vigor. Boys and girls were excited to meet and talk about the race. The other group was made up of quite old men, composed with themselves, less unnecessary movements.

Tau decided to reach out to the elders. Upon seeing a young man approach the group, the elders knew, this person is different.

Tau, Introduced himself and asked the elders for advice.

The elders replied: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

The race began but had Tau realized it wasn’t about the race.

We all have our own race. Some want to finish college, some want a job, some want to start a business, some want a romantic partner, some want to be famous, some want wealth, some of us want to buy a house. It’s wonderful to have an aspiration, isn’t it?

Of course, the question is when and how to finish the race. Before that, let’s take a step back and look at our pursuits and ask ourselves, “Is it a marathon or a sprint? ”

A sprint is a short-distance race. The runners need to explode themselves with heavy muscle stress and short breath.

A marathon is a long-distance race. The runners need to keep their energy on reserve mode while keeping pace. With low stress and deep breaths.

Now let me ask you, “Is it a marathon or a sprint?”

Depending on your answer, you need to change your strategy.

If it is a sprint, you need to control, maintain and observe every domain. You need to be quick and agile. Change at a moment's notice. Make instant decisions and account for the results. Hire fast, fire fast. Rejected? move on, find a new one.

If it is a marathon, you need a long-term vision. You may not control the domains every day but a broader picture lets you observe the improvements. Hire slow, fire fast. Build a body, creating a business, getting a job, LTR, wealth, and a family full of love.

So let me ask you, “Is it a sprint or a marathon?”

Boy, give up your 20’s to build yourself stronger. The best days come at 30.

This is my wish & my blessing, may you find who you truly are & express it to the world.

Lots of Love, Chao.
