That fire with-in you.

“Life is a question and how we live it is our answer.” -Gary Keller

I believe everyone has questions about something. I believe everyone is trying to find their answers. I believe everyone has something to express. No matter how cliche or redundant the expression is as long as it is coming from an interpretation that is uniquely you, it does matter.

I don’t believe in the purpose of life. We are alive, life has fulfilled its purpose. I think the better question we should be asking ourselves is, “ what are we gonna do with it?”

If we look at our lives, we will see that we tend to get influence from our culture. Our society and our environment have a big hand in shaping our perspective. And we tend to look at life with that perspective unless something changes.

Don’t try and change your life, it’s too much heavy lifting for you. Simply change your perspective on how you look at life. That will do the heavy lifting.

Fire with-in you is not about finding purpose in life. Touche.

Fire with-in you is simply about the energy within you.

That energy fuels us to think, to resist, to inspire, to embrace, to focus, to create. We all have this fire with-in us right mate? The only difference between us is, how have we chosen to consume this energy, where have we chosen to fuel our energy into?

Some choose to be in a relationship or learn mauy thai, or read books, or watch sitcoms, or meditate, or manage finance, business, or even go for a trek. Whatever it is, it is a choice.

It has always been your choice and it always will.

The fire within you is your hunger, your drive to know something, to express. It’s a desire that sparks within each and every one of us. The only difference is, have we dedicated to discovering that fire within us? Have we decided to invest in ourselves?

I am not sure about you but I’ll be honest. I have spent my early day pursuing a role model someone who can help me figure out, someone who will be my stand. I look for that someone in my relationship, in my friendship, in my mentorship, in my partnership. But the ship never sailed.

Not until I decided, “My life is my responsibility, I have the choice to respond to creating the life I want”. It’s with this firm belief, “No matter what happens I can handle it”. This kept repeating this statement, again and again, every now and then If I find myself fumbling. I assure myself, “I can handle it”.

This is my fire within that I want to share with you.

“No Matter what happens, you can handle it.”

This is my wish & my blessing, may you find who you truly are & express it to the world.

Lots of Love, Chao.
