“She has the strength only a woman can possess. He has the beauty only a man can express. Let the dawn of Romance begin.”- Manoj Pun Tilija

I’ve been involved with many small ventures during my college year. I’ve operated a restaurant, an eCommerce shop for make-up products, an animation studio, MLM, a crypto company, and a startup that makes maps for small businesses.

I would not say they were a success. In fact, all of the companies have failed. But in pursuit of accomplishing the goals, I’ve gathered skills. I’ve had roles as a marketer, designer, developer, salesperson, manager, and consultant.

I now have a job and a network of highly motivated individuals. I’ve experienced the inherent process of starting a startup and what fails them.

so since I know why it fails, shouldn’t I know how to succeed.

So why don’t I have a successful startup?

Again, this is not any type of advice for the readers. It is my understanding of myself and what works for me at this time.

For example, an acquaintance wants to build heat pumps, he’s built the prototype and is in the fundraising round. Will he succeed?

My mentor has a full-time job, and he diverts his money into flipping houses. He wants to create a real estate portfolio. Will he succeed?

My friend made a ride of 60$ TSLA to 1000$. He thinks he can make it again. Will he succeed?

My advisor is now running a syndicate that invests in multifamily real estate apartment buildings. Although he is rich already. He’s doing it for fun. Will he succeed?

Everyone I know has some type of strategy into make and preserving wealth. It can be as simple as setting a 401K and a Roth IRA.

Now, why am I diverting the theme from skills to money management?

Because they go hand in hand.

You cannot have a high-earning skill and lack the fortitude to diversify your investments.

Without a specialized skill set, you have no value.

Why would anyone want to be a person who does not have any skill?

For instance, I have a broad range of networks. Some friends intersect between different groups.

Some know me as a software developer, some know me as a rock climber, some think I am a ballroom dancer or a motorcycle rider, and some think I am a pickup artist.

But very few know me as an animator, student of risk engineering, and a language enthusiast.

Now, why the fuck did I boast about my skills?

Because people know me for my skill. They want to connect me for the skill they want to be associated with.

With this built network I gain knowledge, opinion, and an audience. This is a type of currency very few accumulate because few know how to exchange and compound value with it.

This is my wish & my blessing, may you find who you truly are & express it to the world.

Lots of Love, Chao.
